Sewing Lessons…

I’ve watched a gazillion YouTube videos and I’ve read a gazillion tutorials. Both pale in comparison to taking lessons from a professional. I abhor the idea of taking a class, but being taught a craft by a person who loves the craft can be a beautiful thing! My first official lesson was 1/5/13 and it was truly the “bee’s knees.” I had a ball. The instructor taught me things that I would have never thought to learn from the videos. I now know how to PROPERLY take measurements and how to PROPERLY read a pattern. One two-hour class completely changed my outlook and approach to sewing. The same two-hour class boosted my confidence and made me feel like I can do this sewing thing. Thanks, LaToria!
